As a psychodynamic and attachment-oriented therapist, I believe experiences and relationships shape us in profound ways, especially the earliest ones. These experiences can nourish us, but they can also leave patterns that no longer serve us, and over time we may carry the effects of trauma, grief, or a quiet sense that something has gone amiss.
I see the therapeutic relationship itself as a primary vehicle for healing and change. With warmth and curiosity, in a safe, deeply attuned space, I help you explore the deep-rooted, often unconscious places where you feel stuck. I pay close attention to what emerges between us, as it usually holds meaning and helps guide us. I am also attentive to the cultural and systemic forces that have shaped your life, weaving an intersectional lens throughout our work.
With time, new insight and emotional experiences within a therapeutic relationship often lead to greater aliveness and freedom, both within yourself and in your relationships.
I believe in and deeply enjoy the therapeutic process. It is an honor to be part of it. I welcome people of all ethnic, cultural, gender, and sexual identities, and I offer therapy in Spanish as well.
