About Megan Baker

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree from Pepperdine University.

I value bringing curiosity, creativity, and depth into the therapy room. My work is psychodynamically informed; I help clients explore the patterns and emotional layers beneath the surface—the parts that often feel confusing or hard to make sense of. I enjoy incorporating artistic and expressive strategies, such as drawing, painting, or visual meditation, to help access what can be hard to put into words.

I am LGBTQ-affirming and trauma-informed, and I value therapy as a collaborative, human process. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, seen, and empowered to better understand themselves and grow in meaningful ways. I am available for individual and couples sessions, both in person and remote.

– The Center for Professional Counseling Practicum, Valley Village

– Associate Marriage and Family License, #160332

I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate codependency, addiction, and relationship patterns that keep them feeling stuck, disconnected, or unable to fully express themselves. Rooted in parts work and informed by psychodynamic approaches, I help clients understand the protective strategies, inner conflicts, and longstanding patterns that get in the way of living more authentically. I also provide affirming support for those exploring ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and alternative relationship structures, with a focus on communication, boundaries, attachment, and honesty.
